What is Financial Planning?
Financial planning is the process of reviewing your financial situation and considering what specific actions throughout all areas of finance will help move you towards your financial goals. Financial planning considers all aspects of your finances like investing, taxes, savings, retirement, your estate, insurance, and more.
How Do I Invest Money Wisely?
There is no “one-size-fits-all” answer to this question, as everyone has a different and unique financial situation. The best way for you to invest your money will depend on your financial situation. Because of this, the first step of wise investing is to have a complete understanding of your income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and financial responsibilities, as well as an identified investing goal and plan.
How Much Do I Need to Retire?
Everybody’s answer to this question will be different depending on a variety of factors like where you plan on living and the type of lifestyle you wish to maintain when you retire. For example, you’ll need to save less if you plan on downsizing in retirement compared to if you plan on living out retirement traveling the world. A general rule of thumb is to aim for your retirement income to be 80% of your final pre-retirement income.
How Much is Health Insurance?
There is no simple answer to how much health insurance costs as plans vary widely. Although this makes it hard to find a nice, round number to use as an answer, it means that there are many options available to pick from. This ensures that you have access to a plan that best suits your indicated needs. A qualified professional will be able to guide you through the ins and outs of each option so you can find the one that is a perfect balance between affordability and the coverage you need.
What are Group Benefits?
Group benefits are insurance that covers a group of people that are often members of the same organization. Typically, an employer will offer group benefits as an incentive to attract and retain its employees. Examples of group benefits include medical, dental, vision care plans, saving plans, disability income protection, life insurance, short-term or long-term disability coverage, and accidental death/dismemberment plans.
